experiment

friday night i came home, plopped down on the couch and decided not to get up off the couch for the rest of the evening.  when i was flipping through the channels, i discovered "Planet of the Apes" was just about to start on AMC.  having never seen (the original) POTA, i decided to make it my evening.

and what an evening it was.  that charlton heston was some actor.  so good...yet so bad at the very same time.  yet, it worked.  how that's even humanly possible, i don't know.  but the man can pull it off.  i just wish he could've put ON some more clothes.  there are few things more disturbing in this world than a mostly-naked middle aged man's body.  no matter what shape he's in.  yikes.  there's a reason God invented clothes.

anyway...at some point i remember thinking to myself:

"gee, charlton heston should be getting up there in age these days.  i wonder when he's going to die..."

next day -- DEAD!!

coincidence?  probably.  BUT what if...what if...i'm a mutant.  and my mutant power is that whenever i think about someone and wonder when they're going to die -- they die the NEXT day.

there's only one way to find out.

"(INSERT YOUR NAME HERE) is getting pretty old.  i wonder when (INSERT YOUR NAME HERE) is going to die..."
